** Position Overview
** The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a part-time,
** 50%
** FTE, 9/12 lecturer to teach Introductory Biology 1101 and Microbiology 4000 courses in academic year . Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
** Performance Objectives
***** Teaching:
*** Develop and deliver courses that include in classroom, lecture, and laboratory. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
** Education and Experience Requirements
***** Required*****:
** PhD degree. Evidence of successful teaching at the post-secondary level.
*** Desired*****:
** Experience teaching Microbiology 4000 and Introductory Biology 1101 courses at OSU.
