Qualifications/Requirements:

Applicant must:

hold a valid Ohio Elementary teaching license Pre-K-3 with reading endorsement, Pre-K-3 with 4-5 endorsement, Pre K - 5, K-1-8 certificate
be aware of the social and emotional needs of each individual student
demonstrate skill in effective classroom management and student engagement
use data to drive instruction
be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the elementary grade student
be willing to promote activities to build positive self-esteem in elementary level students
be committed to providing an educational environment that nurtures academic & personal growth of students
demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction
be open to reviewing current research and actively participating in staff development opportunities to promote personal and professional growth and be open to instructional coaching
incorporate technology into the classroom
have the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff and parents
be willing to work as part of a team
be acceptable to the Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent of Certificated/Licensed Personnel
