Radiologic Science Technology - Part Time Faculty Pool

Part‑time faculty position within the Radiographic Technology Department. Candidates may be contacted for future teaching opportunities that match their qualifications. Successful completion of a background check is required.

• Provide professional quality work as a teaching faculty member.
• Conduct and teach courses within the prescribed curriculum for students enrolled at the College.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to students.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
• Provide academic assistance to students as needed.
• Provide in‑class instruction to radiologic technology students.
• Teach radiologic technology students in assigned courses.

• Master’s degree in the subject matter to be taught or a related area from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
• Professional licensure and certifications relevant to the subject matter (e.g., R.T.® (CT), R.T.® (MR), R.T.® (interventional radiology) with appropriate subspecialty credentials).
• Recent clinical experience in the relevant discipline.
• In‑depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication in the language in which assigned courses will be taught.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.
• Belief in and concern for community service.
• High ethical and moral character.
• Willingness to teach in a variety of instructional delivery modes, including instructional technologies and online learning management systems.
• Commitment to diversity and to meeting students’ learning needs.
• Personal and educational philosophy compatible with the goals, objectives, and mission of Central Ohio Technical College.
• Successful completion of a background check.

• Experience in clinically orienting/educating new technologists in their discipline.
