Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program (LAPP) is an individual and family services organization based in Newark, Ohio. LAPP supports individuals recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, as well as mental health issues. By offering integrated behavioral health services and using evidence-based practices like Stage Wise Treatment and Motivational Interviewing, LAPP aims to improve treatment outcomes and provide low-cost services to the Licking County community.

This is a full-time position for a Substance Use Disorder Case Manager  Case Manager will support individuals recovering from substance use disorders and will work both in the office located in Newark, OH.

• Counseling, Case Management, and Crisis Intervention skills
• Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder treatment modalities
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Associate's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience in a paid case management position
• Certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant
• Experience in healthcare or mental health settings is beneficial
