Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Newark Rehabilitation. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital signs, personal care, and mobility assistance
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Document patient care and concerns in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Ohio
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with assistance as needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
