Qualifications/Requirements:
Student must possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong customer service skills; previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working in an office or professional environment is preferred.
- Ability to:
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Exercise sound judgment and make appropriate decisions within established procedures.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and personal information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with students, employees, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications: Ideally pursuing a business-related degree
Summary of Duties:
- The Student Employee provides administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources Office.
- Responsibilities include assisting employees, students, visitors, and applicants in person, by phone, and through email correspondence; preparing materials for new employee orientation and benefits open enrollment; performing data entry and HR records management functions; scanning, indexing, and filing documents; and maintaining accurate and confidential HR records in accordance with college policies.
- The position also assists with HR projects and special assignments, supports the review and update of position descriptions, assists with job openings, conducts research on HR best practices, and performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Work Hours: Varies based upon departmental needs and student availability
