Job Title: Maintenance Associate
Location: Newark, OH
Reports To: General Manager

• Handling guestroom and public space repairs
• Helping with renovation projects, electrical, plumbing, HVAC fixes
• Pool and spa maintenance (because we all love a good swim, right?)
• Keeping the exterior in top shape – think landscaping, painting, and yes, snow shoveling in winter!
• Quarterly mattress flips and maintaining company vans (if applicable)

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work
• Hospitality experience (we love a team player who’s worked in hotels before!)

• Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional client and employee situations;

• Safety - The employee is safety‑conscious about the work environment and equipment. The work area is free of debris to prevent trip and slip hazards. All products and equipment are stored in their proper location. Standard operating procedures, safety work rules, and good general manufacturing practices are followed on a daily basis.

Education and/or

Experience:

High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry, is preferred. Hospitality experience is a plus. Certifications in plumbing, electrical, and pool maintenance are a plus.

Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
