Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 4+ years troubleshooting Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC systems.
- 4+ years troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480v 3-phase
- Profound understanding of electrical circuits, sensors, control systems, and automated processes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and system drawings.
- Experience performing in-depth machine audits and drawing circuits.
- Previous experience working closely with engineering teams is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and hands-on skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Dedication to upholding safety and quality standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems and electrical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical systems, focusing on minimizing downtime and maximizing reliability.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) while executing maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot:
- General electrical systems and controls (motor starters, lighting circuits, power distribution equipment, industrial controls)
- Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley & Siemens)
- Variable speed AC & DC drives and motors
- Process instrumentation and control (transmitters, control valves, control loops, and DCS)
- Process variable monitoring and control (temperature, pressure, flow, pH, etc.)
- Analytical process troubleshooting, including electrical print reading and utilizing troubleshooting manuals.
- 4+ years of automation and controls troubleshooting experience, with practical mechanical and electrical aptitude, preferably using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA code requirements.
- Experience assisting in planning electrical requirements for new equipment installations.
- 4+ years of electro-mechanical system maintenance and troubleshooting experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, including repair of mechanical/electrical components such as shafts, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, drives, and 3-phase power.
- Strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience in production maintenance on a Corrugator Machine, with a solid understanding of control systems, drive systems, and comprehensive troubleshooting capabilities for both wet and dry end processes.
- Previous experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment is strongly preferred.
