ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Newark, Ohio.
Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift 3x12.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees while embracing safety and superior quality in all aspects of care.
Responsibilities- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
- Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis.
- Provide timely patient information and status updates for team conferences.
- Utilize the nursing process to ensure direct patient care and education.
- Initiate discharge planning on all patients from the day of admission.
- Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care.
- Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
- Ensure a safe environment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in team building activities to foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain communication with management regarding service needs.
- Assume charge responsibility when required.

Travel - BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
- Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred.
This position is for the night shift, following a 3x12 schedule.
CompensationPay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
