Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week assignment in Newark, Ohio.

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Care for patients with serious medical conditions requiring extended hospital‑level care, such as ventilator support, wound care, or post‑ICU recovery.
• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results.
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans.
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery.
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates.
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.

• At least 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an LTAC or similar high‑acuity setting.

• Current BLS certification and eligibility for state licensure.

• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
