Inside Sales Associate Marketing

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Inside Sales Associate / Marketing professional to join our team! You will interact with potential and current clients to offer check in on their IT needs and promote new offerings/solutions. You will also create various marketing collateral to support various promotions via social media (Linked In), email (Constant Contact) as well as printed sales sheets.

Must be able to reliably commute to 1496 West Main Street, Newark, Ohio.

This is a 40‑hours per week position (M‑F 8a to 5p). Compensation includes base + commission.

• Work with Senior Sales Associate to maintain list of current Alpha Link Clients and schedule regular check‑in phone calls to discuss any technology needs.
• Present, quote and close company products and services for existing customers.
• Assist Senior Sales Associate with product and services quotes.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Order products and services as approved by clients. Works with various vendors to initiate and follow up on order status. Communicates with Alpha Link personnel on delivery ETAs.
• Create sales material to present to potential and current clients. Promote Alpha Link Products and Services via phone calls, emails, web content, etc.
• Maintain current client list.

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields.
• Ability to customize and keep up to date existing sales collateral. Graphic design experience (manipulating size and formats) a plus.
• Excellent writing skills (ability to describe and promote benefits of products and services).
• Familiarity with CRM platforms a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Self‑motivated, driven.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Capacity to learn quickly and communicate ideas and solutions effectively.

Alpha Link has been in the IT business for over 40 years. Primary focus is to provide ongoing IT services and data protection solutions to small and medium businesses, local government and manufacturing clients.
