2nd Shift Spot Truck Driver; CDL

Spotter/Truck Driver (CDL Required)

Pay starts at $23.20/hour and increases to $28.64/hour after 6 months.

2nd Shift 3pm–11pm.

Newark Container, 1851 Tamarack Road, Newark, OH 43055.

• Operate the yard truck in a safe manner, during numerous drop & hook and staging scenarios involving both loaded and empty trailers.
• Spot positions of loaded/unloaded trailers at assigned dock space for unloading or loading.
• Spot trailers on lot and perform some local runs.
• Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment.
• Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles and/or equipment.
• Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel usage.
• Check trailer inventory and report any irregularities on log forms.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

• Must have a CDL Class A license.
