George Fox University announces a Director of Clinical Practice position in the College of Education. This full‑time role oversees clinical practice operations, supports teacher and administrator licensure candidates, fosters partnerships with school districts, and ensures compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.
Job Responsibilities- Direct Clinical Placement Operations.
- Provide leadership to the Clinical Practice Office.
- Manage university supervisors to support candidates in the field.
- Foster district and school partnerships.
- Ensure compliance, licensure, and accreditation responsibilities.
- Support candidates in their placements.
- Manage appropriate systems and technology.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with employees, students, and the public.
- Act as a Christian role model to students.
- Demonstrate experience working cross‑culturally with respect, appreciation, and humility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience as a classroom teacher and/or building administrator.
- A current Oregon teacher or administrator license.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to learn new programs and applications.
- Ability to manage several different tasks concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Service‑oriented approach, with a focus on support and mentorship.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
