Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg​/Telemetry

Job Summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing position in Newberg, Oregon. The role is a 13‑week assignment beginning 07/20/2026 at a Level IV Trauma Center, involving night shifts of 12 hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The RN must bring a valid Oregon license, have at least one year of medical‑surgical and telemetry experience, and be trained on the Epic EMR system.

• Provide patient care in a short‑term acute care setting on night shifts.
• Chart electronically using Epic EMR.
• Float within the hospital or to affiliated facilities as unit needs arise.
• Work scheduled holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.

• Valid RN license in Oregon.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical‑surgical and telemetry nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with Epic EMR charting.
• Ability to work in a Level IV Trauma Center.
• Must have a vehicle for travel between facilities.
• Preferred:
  Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center‑like facility and familiarity with the duties described.

Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts with a tax‑free stipend to be determined.
