Ultrasound Technologist

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures. This role requires flexibility to float between units and a strong understanding of general ultrasound principles.

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging examinations utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently and safely.
• Document patient care and procedure findings accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and departmental policies and procedures.

• Weekends are required:
  Friday - Sunday, 12-hour regular day shifts.

• Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Demonstrated ability to use Philips US systems.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience performing general ultrasound examinations.

• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment.
• Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
