Work Hours
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with weekend availability required (Friday to Sunday).
Job DescriptionThe Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room cases. The position requires the use of Philips ultrasound systems, and the technologist will work with a high volume of breast work, including biopsies.
Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders.
- Utilize Philips ultrasound systems for various imaging cases.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to assess and document patient findings.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Assist in special procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is required (minimum 1 year).
- Charge experience preferred.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certifications in Abdominal (RDMS AB) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (RDMS OB/GYN) required.
- ARDMS Breast certification preferred, but training and support will be provided.
- Experience with charting systems (Epic) is required.
