Wage:$18.58-$24.24/hr DOE
Attendance bonus

The perfect attendance bonus in a pay period will be $100.00 for a full-time employee and $75.00 for a part-time employee.

Job SummaryThe caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being.
Essential Duties andJob Responsibilities
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Personal Hygiene:
Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Mobility Assistance:
Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids. - Meal Preparation:
Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms.
Emotional Support and Companionship:
- Providing Emotional Support:
Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement. - Companionship:
Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation.
Housekeeping:
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy:
- Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs.
Other:
- Answer resident calls for assistance timely.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
- Maintain a safe work environment. Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor.
- Assists with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
- Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and or Assisted Living Facility.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
- Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
- Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
