Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, treatment, and rehabilitation services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams, the therapist develops individualized treatment plans to maximize functional independence, improve activities of daily living, and enhance patients' quality of life.
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, Or Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, Or Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent education/experience. Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent education/experience. Oregon Occupational Therapist License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Experience- Experience providing Occupational Therapy services in a hospital, rehabilitation, or clinical setting preferred
- Experience performing patient evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Strong rehabilitation and functional assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Acute Care Hospital experience
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
- Outpatient Rehabilitation experience
- Neurological Rehabilitation
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Patient & Family Education
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration
