Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the therapist develops individualized treatment plans that maximize patient independence, restore functional abilities, and improve quality of life.
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, Or Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, Or Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent education/experience. Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent education/experience. Oregon Occupational Therapist License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Experience- Occupational Therapy experience in Hospital, Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Clinical settings preferred
- Experience with patient evaluations and treatment planning
- Strong rehabilitation and functional assessment skills
- Acute Care experience
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
- Outpatient Rehabilitation experience
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation
- Neurological Rehabilitation
- Stroke Rehabilitation
- EMR experience
- Patient & Family Education
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
