About the OpportunitySearch Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client — a large, well-established hospital system in the Pacific Northwest seeking a CT Technologist for their Newberg, Oregon medical center. This is a full-time opportunity (Friday-Sunday) at an organization with over 100 years of tradition serving communities across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment while accounting for individual patients' special or age-related needs.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree or education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association — required upon hire
- Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board — required upon hire
- ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography, OR National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology — required upon hire
- ARRT Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography, OR National Computed Tomography Technologist (NMTCB) — required within 1 year of hire
- Perform CT examinations according to physicians' orders using sophisticated CT equipment
- Apply clinical knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal diagnostic images
- Account for individual patients' special or age-related needs during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- $6,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates
