Job Details:
• Travel experience required
• Department operates 7 days a week from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM with no on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Block schedules not required
• No floating between units
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ARRT MR or ARRT R (either is acceptable), BLS
• Scrub color:
Any color
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily caseload of 22-24 patients with a variety of cases including neuro, GI, and vascular
• 2 MRI scanners, both 1.5T (one Philips and one GE)
• Required skills include:
Abdomen, Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, Brain, Breast, Cervical, Chest, Diffusion, Face/soft tissue neck, Female Pelvis, GE, Hip/bony pelvis, Image post-processing, Knee, Lumbar, Male Pelvis, Maximum intensity projection (MIP), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), PACS, Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography, Philips, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Shoulder, Starting Peripheral IVs, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images, and Thoracic
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during the compliance process and prior to start
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level IV Trauma Center with 60 total staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers a dynamic imaging department equipped with two 1.5T MRI scanners. The department serves a diverse patient population across multiple specialties including neurology, gastroenterology, and vascular care, maintaining a consistent daily caseload in a collaborative and well-equipped environment.
