Maintenance Technician

Friendsview Retirement Community (Newberg, OR)

Starting wages: $25.75 - $31.00/hr doe.

Training schedule: 8 am – 4:30 pm training.

Regular schedule: 12 pm – 8:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends.

This is a full‑time position with benefits.

• Fix and maintain plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and simple electrical repairs.
• Work with a team: collaborate with supervisor and other technicians to complete jobs.
• Use and maintain tools and equipment to keep operations smooth.
• Follow safety rules to keep everyone safe.
• Track work orders and communicate status to team.
• Train new staff on procedures.
• Assist with event setup and safety drills as needed.

• Flexibility: some evening or weekend work may be required.
• Make an impact: your work keeps residents comfortable and safe.

• 2–4 years of experience in maintenance or similar work.
• Ability to work with tools and fix basic problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background check, DMV check, and drug test.

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
