Harvest Cellar Hands Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for Harvest Cellar Hands to join the Argyle Winery production team! Reporting to the Cellar Master, this role is responsible for helping craft both sparkling and still wines from the beautiful Dundee and Eola-Amity Hills in the upcoming Harvest. This role is based in Newberg, OR and is a full-time, temporary position, working ~ 10-12 hours/day, 6 days per week at peak times.

The incumbent must be able to have a flexible schedule throughout the months of August-November.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior harvest cellar experience and forklift experience is preferred, but not mandatory
• Experience with cellar procedures and understanding work orders is preferred, but not mandatory
• A basic knowledge and understanding of the winemaking process
• Works well in a team setting as well as autonomously at times
• A strong attention to detail and ability to execute tasks in a timely manner
• Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work long hours at peak times (up to 12 hours a day and 6 days a week)
• Dependability to show up to work every day and complete the tasks assigned
• Ability to work in cold and rainy weather

Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.
