Role Overview
The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) serves as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of cancer care. This RN is knowledgeable on multiple treatment decisions, the strong emotions, and the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. The ONN will triage the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and significant others, offering intervention and/or referrals as needed.
Responsibilities- Enable patients with information and education, reducing stress involved in a cancer diagnosis.
- Empower patients to participate in their personal care process.
- Improve patients’ understanding of their decisions and treatment plans.
- Assist patients to complete treatment through survivorship planning when applicable.
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) (Facility Managed) within 18 months of hire.
- Three years of oncology experience.
- Case management or Clinical Trial Nurse experience.

CompensationPay Range: $50.14 – $77.83 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Job SchedulePart Time;
Day shift.
