Family Pet Clinic of Newberg is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our collaborative, high-performing team in beautiful Newberg, Oregon

Our doctors enjoy a wide variety of medical and surgical cases and are able to keep many advanced procedures in-house.

• Amputations
• Gastropexies
• Orthopedic procedures
• Exotic animal surgery

• Advanced abdominal and cardiac ultrasound
• Regular visits from a board-certified surgeon for:
  • TPLO procedures
  • Complex fracture repairs

One of our veterinarians maintains an approximately 40% exotic animal caseload and performs advanced medical and surgical procedures for exotic species.

Our hospital is currently undergoing expansion and remodeling to better serve our patients, clients, and team.

• Expanding to six exam rooms
• Two surgical suites
• Dedicated comfort room for end‑of‑life care
• Boarding and grooming services on‑site

• Digital radiography
• Advanced ultrasound equipment
• In‑house laboratory diagnostics

Our doctors are empowered to focus on practicing medicine while working alongside highly trained support staff.

• Full‑time or part‑time opportunities available
• Two to four days per week
• Shared Saturday rotation

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA‑accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date

• Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in‑house diagnostics
• Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
• Strong surgical and medical case management skills
• Interest in exotics medicine and surgery
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach to medicine
