Dining Services Lead

Location: Newberg

Job Type: Variable Hour

We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Dining Services Lead to help keep our dining areas running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support our dining supervisors and step in to lead the team when they’re not on shift. You’ll also work closely with our Health Services team to help meet the dietary needs of our residents.

You’ll need to know how to do all front-of-house dining jobs, including Nutritional Services Aid and Catering, and be ready to jump in and help wherever needed.

• Help lead the dining team during shifts when supervisors aren’t available
• Work in different front-of-house roles as needed (dining room, catering, etc.)
• Support meal service for residents in Health Services areas
• Understand and follow dietary needs and food safety rules
• Help train and support new dining staff
• Make sure residents have a positive dining experience

• Experience in food service or hospitality
• Friendly, dependable, and a good team player
• Comfortable leading a team and helping others
• Some knowledge of special diets is helpful
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Food handler’s permit or willingness to get one
