JOB DESCRIPTION

The Newberry College Communications Program invites applications for a part-time teaching position(s) for instructors for its public relations and advertising courses. Candidates should be able to teach courses in the following areas:
Public Relations techniques, Media Planning, Sales, and Principles of Advertising. Candidates can teach up to two three-hour courses per semester. These courses will be taught in an in-person format during regular daytime class hours on the Newberry College campus.

EDUCATIONAL OR OTHER HIRING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

The ideal candidate will have 18 graduate-level hours in a mass communications or public relations-related field, as well as practical experience in public relations or a related field. The successful candidate must display effective communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work with diverse populations, and show a commitment to collaborative work.
