- Developing and expressing in ERP the production plan for operations within IFS.
- Supporting the creation of production plans for a department to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Leading, planning, preparing, maintaining and reporting on the performance of the Composites Master Production Schedule.
- Creating and maintaining a capacity requirements plan that supports the Composites master schedule.
- Establishing, evaluating and maintaining production planning processes and master schedule review.
- Developing, maintaining and communicating key performance indicators aligned with executive strategic and plant-level performance measures, analyzing data to identify causes of variances.
- Setting objectives for direct reports, reviewing and monitoring performance, selecting, training and motivating employees while removing barriers to success.
- Training all new Composites schedulers and dispatchers in business processes and the ERP system (IFS) and identifying growth opportunities for the team.
- Supervising direct reports, reporting to the Materials Manager, and working closely with the Purchasing Team.
- Two or more years of hands‑on production planning experience and two or more years leading teams (directly or indirectly).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior experience with master scheduling utilizing production family methodologies.
- Proficiency in Lean manufacturing techniques. Demonstrated competence in planning and setting up KANBAN pull systems.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, and a solid understanding of balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.
- APICS CPIM, CFPIM, SCOR-P or CSCP certification is preferred.
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification, a Bachelor's Degree (preferred, not required), capacity requirements planning experience, and experience with sales and operations planning processes.
