Sanitation Worker
Our client, a leading food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Worker to join their team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will be part of the Sanitation Department supporting the production and cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location:
Newberry, SC
Shift: Evening Shift (18:30-03:00 / 21:00-05:30), Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs to support sanitation operations
- Quickly learn and execute sanitation procedures using various chemicals and equipment
- Work efficiently and safely in wet conditions, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Participate in Floor Drain Cleaning Program and follow safety precautions
- Assist with pre-sanitation, drain back-up procedures, and documentation of sanitation activities
What's Needed?
- 1-3 years of experience in maintaining cleanliness in a production environment
- Ability to work in wet conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety practices
- Willingness to work 6 to 7 days a week, including some weekends
