Weekend Warrior Nurse
Southern Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at the Newberry County Jail on a part-time every other weekend schedule.
This is an ideal role for nurses looking to supplement income, stay clinically active, or maintain a meaningful connection to patient care without committing to long shifts or full-time hours.
What You'll DoAs part of our healthcare team, you will:
- Provide direct patient care in a secure correctional setting
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
- Assess patient concerns and respond appropriately
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff
- Support a safe, professional, and structured care environment

QualificationsActive South Carolina LPN or RN license LPN candidates must have at least 1 year of LPN experience Current CPR certification preferred Strong communication and clinical judgment skills Ability to work independently in a structured environment
