Southern Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at the Newberry County Jail on a part-time every other weekend schedule.

This is an ideal role for nurses looking to supplement income, stay clinically active, or maintain a meaningful connection to patient care without committing to long shifts or full-time hours.

• Provide direct patient care in a secure correctional setting
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Assess patient concerns and respond appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with healthcare and correctional staff
• Support a safe, professional, and structured care environment

• Only 4 hours per shift
• Every other weekend schedule for maximum flexibility

Required

• Active South Carolina LPN or RN license
• LPN candidates must have at least 1 year of LPN experience
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work independently in a structured environment
