Speech Pathologist
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication growth across three welcoming educational sites. This position is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives in a dynamic setting and values making a real difference in the school environment. Work with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, primarily elementary age, while also supporting learners from kindergarten through high school.
Ideal candidates bring expertise, compassion, and adaptability to foster student success. Both full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (minimum 3 days/week) arrangements are available, providing flexibility throughout the full school year.
Qualifications &Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC credential and eligibility for state licensure
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing K-12 caseloads, with a focus on elementary students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between three local school sites as needed
- Deliver direct therapy services and language interventions for students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to implement IEP goals
- Provide guidance to paraprofessionals and staff on effective strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and student progress
