Title I Math

The Newburg R-II School District is seeking applications for elementary Title I Math for the 2026-27 school year. Our district has approximately 300 students in grades PreK-12. We operate on a 4 day school week. Newburg is located in South Central Missouri approximately 10 miles west of Rolla on Interstate 44.

In order to serve as an Title I math teacher, the applicant must be working toward or currently holding an elementary math specialist certificate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* To create a flexible instructional program and a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.

* To establish effective rapport with students.

* To motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.

* To provide positive feedback and encouragement for students.

* To facilitate an environment that promotes academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students.

* To implement a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings.

* To assess student progress, provide students and parents with specific feedback regarding progress, and use the data to adjust instruction as needed.

* To perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervising administrators.
