Two‑year entry‑level program providing four technical rotational assignments that alternate evenly between design engineering and manufacturing. All rotations include concurrent educational and professional development. Assignment locations are spread across GE Appliances Supply Chain and Technology departments, covering design engineering, quality improvement, cost reduction, product reliability, component & product testing, dimensional control, lab testing, quality engineering, process improvement engineering and advanced manufacturing engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in design and manufacturing assignments to integrate product designs that meet customer needs.
- Apply technical problem‑solving skills through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership.
- Obtain a GD&T Practitioner certification (company paid).
- Bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
- Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0).
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and commitment to a technical engineering program.
- Co‑op or internship experience in engineering.
- Leadership roles in campus or community activities.
- Analytical approach to problem solving, initiative, effective teamwork, and relevant coursework or experience in major field of study.
