Edison Engineering Development Program; EEDP - Mechanical

Program Overview

The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) – Mechanical is a three-year, entry‑level educational and rotational program that prepares new engineers for growth within GE Appliances.

• At least three technical rotational assignments across various technology domains such as design engineering, systems management, finite element analysis, quality improvement, cost reduction, product reliability, and component and product testing.
• Development and mentorship through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership.
• Completion of a company‑supported Master’s Degree in Engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

• Completion of two or more co‑op or internship experiences before graduation.
