Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) – Mechanical – January 2027
A three‑year entry‑level program providing at least three technical rotational assignments across various technology areas within GE Appliances.
How You'll Create PossibilitiesAssignments may include the following areas:
- Design engineering
- Overall systems management
- Finite element analysis
- Quality improvement
- Cost reduction
- Product reliability
- Component & product testing
Technical problem‑solving skills will be developed through advanced coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership.
Obtaining a Master’s Degree in Engineering is a requirement of the program and is paid for by the company. GE Appliances partners with a local university to provide on‑site and customized classes that align with the Edison program.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
- Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0)
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire and ability to continue learning
- Committed to a technical engineering program
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong work ethic
- Completed two or more co‑op or internship experiences prior to graduation
