Software Engineering Co-op_Spring

Position

Software Engineering Co‑op, Spring 2027 at GE Appliances, Louisville, KY. Rotations run January 11, 2027 – May 7, 2027.

Housing and relocation assistance available for eligible students.

• Work with a mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and provide learning opportunities.
• Complete innovative, technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development, or GEA’s own Micro‑Factory, First Build.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional growth.
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Participate in optional events such as lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts offered both in and outside of work.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Computer or Software Engineering) with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

• Ability to complete two or more co‑op rotations before graduation.
• Relevant coursework in related technical areas.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid analytical skills.
• Desire and ability to learn; passion for engineering.
