The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) – Software – July 2027 is a 3‑year entry‑level rotational program based in Louisville, KY. Participants will develop in C for production code and scripting languages such as Lua and JavaScript for tooling, work in a resource‑constrained, bare‑metal environment (with some RTOS projects), and use industry‑leading Git for version control.

• Rotate through 4 to 6 teams, each rotation lasting 6 months to 1 year.
• Participate in daily software team activities: scoping work, identifying requirements, creating and refining designs, implementing 100% unit‑tested code, bench testing, and supporting software quality assurance.
• Act as a mentor or “buddy” for software co‑ops.
• Engage in targeted training from seasoned engineers and real‑world projects to develop into well‑rounded software engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0).
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Position located in Louisville, KY.

• Solid analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal communication skills.
• Completed two or more co‑op rotations or internships prior to graduation.
