Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to step in quickly and add value in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role will support key accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve variances.
• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Identify process improvements to streamline accounting operations and strengthen controls.
