Jack Young Personnel Services is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Controller / Office Manager on behalf of a successful, well-established Asian import dealership in Orange County, New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dealership accounting professional seeking long-term stability, leadership responsibility and a genuine succession opportunity.

The dealership's current Controller is a highly respected, long-tenured member of the organization and is preparing for retirement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly alongside the current Controller, benefit from their experience and knowledge, and participate in a well-planned transition into the role.

The Controller / Office Manager will oversee the dealership's accounting operations and lead a three-person administrative team. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, producing timely monthly financial statements and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the accounting office.

This is a privately owned, well-capitalized and consistently profitable dealership with an active Dealer Principal, a stable team and a positive working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and month-end closing
• Experience preparing timely and accurate monthly financial statements
• Prior experience supervising accounting or administrative personnel
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Familiarity with Automate accounting software is a plus
