The Director Case Management will oversee a comprehensive Case Management and Utilization Review department within a 240+ bed not-for-profit community hospital network offering a distinct combination of nationally recognized clinical quality and deeply localized care across the Hudson Valley. The hospital holds the prestigious Magnet Recognition Program® status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Reporting on performance metrics related to length of stay, readmissions, denials management, and transitions of care, the Director Utilization Review will lead evidence-based resource management strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance and payer alignment.

This department serves as a critical bridge between clinical teams, patients, families, and post-acute partners to ensure seamless, efficient, and patient-centered care coordination.

The Director Care Management will report directly to a senior hospital executive and provide strategic and operational leadership to nurse case managers, social workers, utilization review specialists, and support staff. The Director Case Management will mentor an experienced and collaborative team of compassionate nurses and diverse healthcare professionals dedicated to advocacy, discharge planning excellence, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
