Position: 4x4 Vehicle Technician – Specialist Independent Garage & No Weekends

The Rewards
  • Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per year (Depending on experience and skill level).

Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Specialist Mechanic in our Newbury workshop, you will:

  • Perform high-quality maintenance, routine servicing, and complex mechanical repairs on a wide variety of specialized utility and all-wheel-drive vehicles.
  • Use specialized diagnostic equipment and software to identify and rectify intricate mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Complete thorough vehicle safety inspections and fault-finding processes to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and provide clear, professional communication with team members and customers when required.
What You Need
  • Qualifications: Formal automotive technician training or relevant certifications (NVQ Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Proven track record as a confident Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic in a professional workshop setting.
  • Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a safe, efficient approach to repairs.
  • Licensing: A valid UK driving licence is essential for this position.
