Your RoleAs a vital Vehicle Technician / Specialist Mechanic in our Newbury facility, you will:
- Carry out premium vehicle servicing
, scheduled maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on specialized off-road and utility vehicles. - Use specialist diagnostic equipment and multi-brand software to systematically trace, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate mechanical and electrical faults.
- Conduct comprehensive safety inspections
, steering/suspension setups, and drivetrain overhauls. - Deliver high-quality "first-time fix" results while maintaining an organized, clean bay and collaborating with a close-knit technical team.
- Qualifications: Formal automotive training or certifications (NVQ Level 2, Level 3, or equivalent time-served background). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Experience: A proven track record working as a confident Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic in a professional garage environment.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not essential. - Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools to carry out daily repair, diagnostic, and servicing tasks effectively.
