Truck & Trailer Technician (Mobile))
(£20 per hour / £50,000+ with overtime)
(Mobile - M4 Corridor)

Salary & Benefits:

£20 per hour (£50,000+ OTE with overtime)
Regular, consistent overtime available (no cap on earnings potential)
Monday - Friday core hours (7:00am - 5:00pm)
Flexible start and finish times where possible

The Role:

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV units and trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Work on trailer systems including brakes, axles, suspension, lighting, ABS/EBS
Attend breakdowns and planned maintenance across the M4 corridor
Complete inspection reports, defect sheets, and job documentation
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and HSE compliance standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Truck & Trailer Technician or HGV Technician
Strong understanding of trailer systems and HGV legislation
Confident fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems
Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential)
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
