Location: Newbury
Salary: Up to £45,000 Basic Depending on Experience & Uncapped OTE (£60,000+)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

As a Master Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostics, servicing and repairs while supporting the workshop team with your technical expertise.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out complex diagnostics, servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults efficiently
  • Inspecting vehicles and identifying repair requirements
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and right first time
  • Providing technical guidance and support to fellow Technicians
  • Liaising with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records
  • Delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction
About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and workshop procedures
  • Ability to mentor and support other Technicians
  • MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
  • Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
