Electrical Installation Instructor (Training Available)

Newbury

35,000 + Comprehensive Training + No Site Work + Monday to Friday + Flexible Hybrid Working + 28% Pension + 46 Days Annual Leave

Are you an experienced Electrician with a solid background in Electrical Installation?

Would you like to move away from hands-on site work into a structured weekday role where you can support and develop future electricians?

This progressive and well-regarded training provider delivers high-quality education across engineering and construction disciplines. With increasing demand and continued investment in skills development, they are growing their Electrical department and are keen to bring in skilled industry professionals. They provide excellent support, training pathways, and clear progression opportunities within the organisation.

In this role, you will support apprentices working towards Electrical Installation qualifications. Your initial focus will be on practical, workshop-based training, helping learners build confidence and develop core installation skills. As you progress, you will gradually become involved in classroom-based theory delivery, with full teaching qualifications and support provided throughout.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Electrician with strong installation experience. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, and ideally have, or be willing to work towards, the 2391 qualification. Previous teaching experience is not required, but a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others is essential.

The Role:

Full training programme and continuous professional development available

Support apprentices across various stages of their Electrical Installation training

Deliver hands-on practical sessions and assist with classroom-based learning

37-hour week with around 25 hours dedicated to teaching

Monday to Friday role with hybrid working options

Work within a supportive team using modern training facilities

The Person :

Qualified Electrician with proven Electrical Installation experience

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

Ideally holds or is open to gaining the 2391 qualification

Interested in moving into a teaching or training career

Enthusiastic about supporting and developing learners

Seeking a long-term role with progression and development opportunities
