Are you an experienced Fire and Security Engineer looking for a strong basic salary, fully paid travel and an excellent call-out rota?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Fire and Security specialist that has built an excellent reputation for quality, reliability and looking after its engineers. The company continues to expand through new contract wins, repeat business and long-standing customer relationships.

Due to this continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced Fire and Security Engineer based around Swindon, Newbury or Reading.

The role will involve servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and commissioning Fire and Security systems across a varied portfolio of customer sites, primarily within leisure environments.

• Servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and commissioning Fire and Security systems
• Working across Fire Alarms and a range of Security systems
• Diagnosing system faults and completing work to a high standard
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Delivering a professional and reliable service to customers
• Participating in a 1 in 6 week call-out rota

• Basic salary of £40,000–£45,000, depending on experience
• Door-to-door travel paid
• Overtime available
• 1 in 6 week call-out rota
• £210 standby payment per week
• Overtime paid when called out
• 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
