We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to design, program, deploy, and support advanced automation systems for the food & beverage and life sciences sectors. The role involves creating technical documentation, specifying hardware & software, and troubleshooting across the product life cycle.

• Design, specify, implement, commission, and troubleshoot automated systems.
• Document process sequences and produce detailed technical documentation (IO maps, SOOs, etc.).
• Specify automation hardware and software components.
• Develop PLC, HMI, multi‑axis motion/servo, robotics, and machine vision programs.
• Support FATs, SATs, and site startups; provide operational and control system troubleshooting support.

• 5+ years of automation or controls engineering experience.
• Proficiency in ladder logic programming (Rockwell preferred).
• Experience with vision systems such as Cognex, Fanuc, or Keyence.
• Understanding of automated system risk assessments.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to conceptualize systems from idea to operation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and vendor interaction.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (including trips lasting 1–2 weeks).
