Due to rapid growth, we’re looking for an Electrical & Controls Engineer ready to take ownership, solve complex challenges, and play a key role in delivering world‑class automation solutions.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems
- Create and document process sequences, IO mapping, and system specifications
- Program and configure:
- PLCs (ideally Rockwell)
- HMIs
- Motion systems (including multi‑axis servo)
- Robotics with line tracking
- Machine vision systems (Cognex, Fanuc, Keyence)
- Lead and support FAT & SAT testing, ensuring systems perform flawlessly
- Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, innovative environment:
Essential Skills- Minimum 2 years’ experience in controls/automation engineering
- Strong PLC programming (preferably Rockwell)
- Experience with machine vision systems
- Solid understanding of safety standards and risk assessments
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem‑solving ability
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven
- Strong communicator with stakeholder‑facing confidence
- Able to visualise systems from concept to execution
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) experience
- Background in food & beverage or life sciences automation
- Approximately 25% travel (including occasional 1‑2 week trips)
