MISSION

The Pricing & Profitability Analyst is responsible for analyzing pricing strategies, cost structures, and profitability drivers to support data-driven decision-making. This role partners closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to optimize pricing models, improve margin performance, and support revenue growth while maintaining competitiveness.

DIMENSIONS OF THE POSITION:

PRICING ANALYSIS

• Analyze pricing structures and discounting practices
• Develop and maintain pricing models to assess revenue and margin impact
• Monitor price realization and variance vs budget
• Support pricing approvals and deal reviews with financial analysis

PROFITABILITY AND MARGIN MANAGEMENT

• Conduct customer, product, channel and segment profitability analyses.
• Identify margin improvement opportunities and cost drivers
• Track contribution margins and support margin improvement initiatives

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

• Partner with Sales and Marketing on pricing strategies
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to understand cost drivers
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management

REPORTING AND DATA MANAGEMENT

• Develop dashboards and reports to track pricing and profitability KPIs
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across pricing and financial systems
• Automate recurring analyses where possible

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics or related field or equivalent practical working experience
• 2-5+ years of experience in pricing, profitability, finance or analytical roles
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• CPQ and Power BI experience preferred

The expected salary for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 and will be eligible for incentive pay. This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, locations, skills, training, and experience.
